COMPANY EXECUTIVES
Henry Jackson Kabel (1920-1975)
Henry Jackson Kabel was an American machinist at his core—raised in a working-class family during a time when industry defined the nation. Growing up around tools, steel, and hard labor, Henry developed an early respect for precision and durability. He believed that anything worth building should be built to last, no matter the cost or effort. In 1920, with little more than a small workshop and a relentless work ethic, he founded KABEL Manufacturing. His focus was simple: produce machinery that wouldn’t fail the people who depended on it. That mindset became the foundation the company was built on.
Edward Jackson Kabel (1975-2015)
Edward Jackson Kabel was raised within the company his father built, learning the trade from the shop floor up. He developed a strong understanding of precision manufacturing early on, carrying forward the same discipline and standards that defined KABEL’s foundation. After Henry Kabel’s passing in 1975, Edward took control during a time of rapid industrial change. He modernized operations, expanded production capabilities, and secured larger contracts, strengthening KABEL’s position as a competitive industrial manufacturer. Under his leadership, the company didn’t just continue it evolved, setting the stage for its future growth and expansion.
Cole Jackson Kabel (2015-Present)
Cole Jackson Kabel was born in 1972 and raised around the foundation of KABEL Manufacturing. Before stepping into the business, he served four years in the Army National Guard as a Military Police officer, deploying in support of the initial invasion of Iraq in a combat support role. The experience shaped his discipline, leadership, and understanding of real-world reliability.
After returning home, Cole rejoined the company under his father, learning the operation from the ground up. When he eventually took control, he modernized KABEL’s manufacturing processes, expanded into law enforcement equipment and firearms, and significantly grew the company’s reach.
Under his leadership, KABEL evolved into a large-scale, multi-industry manufacturer—built on precision, performance, and the same standards it was founded on.
OUR STORY
KABEL Manufacturing was founded in 1920 by Henry Jackson Kabel with a vision of building reliable, high-precision industrial machinery for a rapidly modernizing America. Starting as a small workshop, the company quickly gained a reputation for producing durable and accurate equipment used across multiple industries.
Throughout the early and mid-20th century, KABEL expanded its capabilities, becoming a trusted manufacturer of precision machining equipment, including CNC machines, drill presses, lathes, and other industrial tools. The company’s commitment to quality and engineering excellence allowed it to grow steadily, supplying both private industry and government contracts.
In 1975, the original founder Henry Kabel tragically passed away in a motor vehicle accident on the Del Perro Freeway after colliding with another vehicle. Leadership of the company was then passed to his son, Edward Jackson Kabel who continued to expand KABEL’s footprint. Under his direction, the company modernized its manufacturing processes and strengthened its reputation as a top-tier industrial supplier.
By the 1990s, KABEL identified a growing need in the law enforcement sector. In 1995, following a reported 23% increase in police personnel across the United States, departments began seeking more advanced and reliable equipment. KABEL leveraged its precision manufacturing background to enter the police equipment market, quickly becoming a leading supplier of items such as ram bars, lighting systems, ALPR technology, and vehicle outfitting solutions.
In 2010, KABEL took another major step forward by entering the firearms and weapons systems industry. Using its advanced machining expertise, the company began refining and redesigning existing platforms, improving performance, reliability, and durability. This expansion marked a significant push into the market, particularly in San Andreas, where KABEL established itself as a dominant force in both law enforcement and civilian sectors.
Leadership transitioned once again when the second generation owner eventually passed the company to his son, Cole Jackson Kabel who had been preparing for the role from a young age. Born in 1972, Cole joined the army in the 2000s and deployed to iraq after the 9/11 attacks. He assumed control of KABEL in 2015, becoming the current owner and operator. Under his leadership, the company has continued to innovate while honoring its legacy of precision and reliability.
In 2026, KABEL announced the construction of a $7.5 million advanced training and firearms facility, further expanding its presence in the industry. The facility features two shooting ranges (long and short), two full-scale shoot houses, a large storage and logistics area, a dedicated classroom for training and instruction, a retail gun store, and a secure vault. This development represents KABEL’s commitment to not only manufacturing high quality equipment, but also supporting training, readiness, and real world application.
Today, KABEL Manufacturing stands as a multi industry leader, supplying high-end machining equipment, advanced law enforcement gear, and modern firearms solutions. With over a century of experience, the company continues to push forward combining tradition, innovation, and uncompromising quality
